MASTERPIECES OF THE THREE B'S CONCLUDE THE EXCITING NCE SEASON: The National Chamber Ensemble (NCE) presents three masterpieces of three great composers Bach, Beethoven and Brahms. NCE's high quality, family friendly, fun and inspiring season concludes with the Internationally acclaimed pianist Carlos Rodriguez being featured in Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 arranged for piano and string quartet. Rodriguez was described by the Washington Post as, " A performer who throws body and soul into his work...Rodríguez is as compelling to watch as he is to hear."
Carlos Rodriguez is a musician of exceptional brilliance and versatility who has gained recognition as a virtuoso pianist who not only generates unusual excitement in the Spanish and Latin-American keyboard repertoire (in recordings on the Omicron, Brioso labels), but also displays an extraordinary flair for Mozart, Beethoven and the great Romantics. Mr. Rodríguez made his New York debut at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall at age 21, and has since performed in major venues worldwide. He earned both his Master’s degree from the Juilliard School, studying with Joseph Kalichstein and his DMA from The University of Maryland. He collaborates closely with Placido Domingo as coach of the Washington Opera’s Young Artists program and is a member of the piano faculty at The Levine School of Music in Washington, DC In addition to performing as a soloist Mr. Rodriguez is an in demand chamber music collaborator and recital partner with artists such as Placido Domingo, Jessye Norman and Carmen Balthrop.

The concerts are fun, inspiring, educational, listener-friendly and offer the areas most enjoyable musical evening.
