Contemporary Sculpture at Chesterwood 2013

The Austrian Cultural Forum recommends an exhibition of large-scale abstract, conceptual and figurative sculptures.

2013 marks the 35th anniversary of Contemporary Sculpture at Chesterwood, an annual juried exhibition of contemporary sculpture at Chesterwood, a National Trust Historic Site and former home and studio of America’s foremost public sculptor Daniel Chester French (1850-1931).

The 2013 exhibition features a large-scale sculpture by the Austrian-born artist Caroline Ramersdorfer, who uses the shifting of light into amorphous formations to give a sense of life and vitality to her work.
