In cooperation with Embassy Concert Series

The Minetti Quartet has collected more important prizes than any ensemble since 2003 when it received the Haydn Award at the International Joseph Haydn Competition in Vienna, followed by the International Rimbotti Competition for String Quartet in Florence, the Franz Schubert Competition in Graz, the national “Gradus ad Parnassum” Prize.

Program: Beethoven: String Quartet, op. 18/2 in G Major;  Arvo Pärt: Frates; Mendelssohn: String Quartet, op 44/2 in e minor.  Ticketprice includes hors-d’œuvres, wine, cheese, Strudel and sweets reception, catered by master chef Wilhelm Jonach.

Review:  " The Minettis’ clear lines and faultless ensemble keep the phrasing simple and transparent, and there is some heart-stoppingly well-controlled playing at the very top of the register in the first violin." (Gramophone, about their new CD)
