SHORTCUT TO EUROPE | EU Embassies' Open House Day

  • Austrian Embassy 3524 International Court Northwest Washington, DC, 20008 United States

On Saturday, May 13th, 2017 the Embassies of the European Union and the EU Delegation to the United States open their doors to the public for the annual EU Embassies’ Open House: A day of family fun, food, culture and more. The event offers visitors a rare look inside the embassies and provides a unique opportunity for them to experience the cultural heritage and national traditions of the 28 member countries.

Austria is known for many beautiful things: High-caffeine drinks, spring water straight from the mountains, scenic regions and Alpine vistas, specialties, satisfying the sweet and savory tooth, music, that makes you dance (in three-quarter time) … and wine has been made here for millennia. #AustriansAbroad in America are fueled by these. See what they are up to.

When: Saturday, May 13, 2017 | 10 am – 4 pm
Where: Embassy of Austria, 3524 International Court, NW, Washington, DC, 20008
