Now in its 35th year, the 2022 AFI EUROPEAN UNION FILM SHOWCASE continues its tradition of bringing the best in European cinema to Washington, DC-area audiences. The 2022 AFI EUROPEAN UNION FILM SHOWCASE features 56 outstanding feature-length films, numerous international award winners  and debut works by up-and-coming filmmakers.

This year's selection includes two Austrian films: Austria’s official Oscar® submission CORSAGE will open the festival on December 1. The Austrian film RIMINI will follow on December 16.

Both films will be shown twice:

CORSAGE on December 1, 7:15 PM and December 4, 5:45 PM
RIMINI on December 16, 7:00 PM and December 19, 7:00 PM.

All film screenings will take place at
